David McConnon qualified as physiotherapist at the University of South Australia in 1994. He worked in Adelaide for a year and then travelled to England and has spent most of his professional career in various parts of the country. He has a strong skill base in both manual and rehabilitation based therapy. His areas of interest include the treatment of shoulders, headaches and whiplash cases as well as backs, knees and hips. As a student he worked for a semi-professional Australian Rules football team where he gained valuable experience in managing sports injuries.

In 1999 he completed the sort after Graduate Diploma in Advanced Manipulative Therapy and has enjoyed developing his skills covering all areas of the body. He is currently studying a graduate diploma in Hypnotherapy.

David has played many sports including Australian Rules Football, cricket, triathlon, surfing, snowboarding, golf, tennis, swimming, aikido, yoga and is a keen cyclist both on and off the road. He is an active member of his local community and is a qualified level 2 cricket coach with the England and Wales Cricket Board and was Club Captain of the Emmbrook and Bearwood Cricket Club for seasons 2007 and 2008, which saw them reach the Premier Division of the Berkshire Cricket League. Prior to physiotherapy David was a qualified electrician and nowadays when not being actively involved in sport he enjoys DIY, gardening, reading, film, theatre and travel.
